Synopsis:
What:
I worked on a brand new product, Axon Records, from product conception to product delivery.
I led the first UX Research process, project management, and account management responsibilities end to end.
Business Problem:
What:
Police agencies are using 20+ year old technology to create and report crimes.
They are looking for an efficient and easy to use modern day software solution to reduce the amount of time needed to write reports.
Why:
Imagine using a 20 year old brick phone compared to a modern smartphone.
An officer can take up to 30 minutes just to record a 30 second traffic stop with old software.
New software can reduce this time tremendously, allowing officers to get back out on the streets and help save the community.
Roles:
My Role: UX Research focused program manager
Purpose:
Identify the feelings, moods, expectations, and pain points for various user groups ranging from police officers, detectives, sergeants, IT managers, and record clerks
Relay these research findings to product managers, designers, and engineers.
UX Research Methods Used:
Surveys
Usability Testing
Competitive Analysis
User Journeys
Persona Development
Ethnographic Research

Interviews (remote & in-person)
